Love the Running Man Challenge and song? Then check out this addictive new mobile game featuring the dance and music by Ghost Town DJ's.

The "Running Man Challenge" dance is the latest trend to take over the internet since Damn Daniel and so of course, someone’s turned it into a mobile game, complete with the catchy Ghost Town DJ's song, "My Boo."

Though simple in design, the Running Man Challenge game is annoyingly difficult to progress through – in fact, I’ve yet to hear the whole Running Man Challenge song yet, but that hasn’t stopped me from trying with all my might.

Running Man Challenge Gameplay

So what is the Running Man Challenge game? Similar to the Damn Daniel mobile game it gives a nod to Don Nguyen’s mobile sensation, Flappy Birds, in that it has incredibly simple controls and objective – stay alive by tapping the screen – but it is maddeningly difficult to progress through.

The Running Man challenge game is so hard, you'll probably never hear the whole Ghost Town Djs song.

The gameplay for Running Man Challenge game goes like this:

Your little “Running Man” avatar is standing in front of a city, presumably doing the running man, as in queues the Running Man song “My Boo.” You tap "start" and your goal is to jump upwards and grab dollars. But timing is everything in those jumps because above your running man is a closing platform that he must jump on to at just the right time to avoid bonking his head or falling to his death. The closing platforms come at different timed intervals and so it’s rather like a Color Switch mission from hell. Still, like all the Flappy Bird type arcade games to come before and that are sure to come after, the Running Man Challenge game can be an addictive and fun diversion, with a swanky soundtrack, to boot!

The game is free to download on the iOS App store or there are some APK versions on the web for Android users.

What Is The Running Man Challenge Dance? How Did The Trend Get Started?

The running man challenge is a fun dance challenge that takes a classic 80s dance move, popularized by pop stars like Janet Jackson and Vanilla Ice, and puts it to Ghost Town DJs song “My Boo.”

The Running Man Challenge was started by a couple of guys on Instagram in early February but went viral when Maryland basketball players Jared Nickens and Jaylen Brantley decided to do the running man and post it to Instagram. The basketball player’s version included Ghost Town DJs “My Boo” and the song has now been officially dubbed the Running Man Challenge song.

The Running Man Challenge dance trend is still going strong with everyone from the Gronkowski brothers to some New Zealand police officers doing it.

[Intro]

Boy you should know that

I've got you on my mind

Your secret admirer

I've been watching you

[Chorus]

At night, I think of you

I want, to be your lady, maybe

If your game is on, give me a call boo

If your lovin's strong, gonna give my all to you

At night, I think of you

I want, to be your lady, maybe

If your game is on, give me a call boo

If your lovin's strong, gonna give my all to you
