Rune Factory 5 is officially coming to PC through Steam on July 13. This version comes with visual updates along with new customization options. The game was first released on Nintendo Switch.
To celebrate the upcoming PC release, players who pre-purchase the game can enjoy a 15% discount on the standard $59.99 price. Then, during launch week, it will be offered at an additional 10% off. Besides the Standard Edition, there is also the Digital Deluxe Edition available for pre-purchase at $69.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition features 13 exclusive outfits inspired by the marriage candidates of Rune Factory 4.
Those who already have Rune Factory 4 Special on Steam also receive a special bonus in Rune Factory 5.
Rune Factory 5 is a farming/life sim RPG that offers a full 3D adventure where players explore dungeons and fight dangerous foes to solve the mystery threatening Rigbarth. In between adventures, players can grow crops, join in local festivals, and build friendships.
In the game, players take on the role of the newest ranger for the peacekeeping organization known as SEED. They’re tasked with protecting the frontier town by rounding up rowdy monsters using their official SEED-issued spell seal or teaming up with an ally for brand-new link attacks.
Both English and Japanese voice tracks are available when the game is released. There are also features new to the series, such as link attacks, co-op cooking, and same-sex marriage.
