Rodeo Stampede Animals: All Chinese New Year 2018 Items And How To Unlock Them

The Chinese New Year has been a popular theme in mobile games this week and Rodeo Stampede has been no exception. In its latest February 2018 update, the popular endless runner brings back it’s festive Chinese New Year event, complete with new animals, hats and decor to celebrate the season. For a limited time, players have the opportunity to unlock six different Chinese New Year themed animals and 14 different themed hats and clothing items. Below we’ve put together a complete rundown of all the new items you can acquire during the special in-game event.

How Does Rodeo Stampede Chinese New Year 2018 Event Work?

The event allows players to unlock 20 different themed animals, hats and costumes. To do this, players will start their run in a special festival game mode. While in this mode, players will see three different types of objects on the ground: Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns and Pots of Gold.

• Fireworks - During your ride if you run into a set of fireworks, you’ll set off a celebratory explosion but there are no other benefits.

• Chinese Lanterns - Your main goal will be to go after the Chinese Lanterns. Since the event themed items cost various amounts of lanterns, the more of these you collect, to more items you can purchase.

• Pots of Gold - these are another fun perk. When you run into them, you’ll see a splash of confetti and also gain a ton of coins.

There are six animals to unlock during the event. Three can be unlocked with Lanterns while the others require you to complete special, possibly secret missions to obtain them. Once we know what these missions are, we'll update this post.
