River Tails: Stronger Together is all set to come out of Early Access. This 3D co-op adventure platformer is officially launching on December 14.
Even before the full version is out, you can check out the free demo that's now out on Steam. You can also buy it right now and enjoy the 20% discount. This offer ends November 28.
The game tells the story of two unlikely friends. There's a cat named Furple, who's an excitable and curious kitten. Then there's the fish named Finn, who's an independent fish but has some attitude problem. As they travel through the beautiful natural-world environments, they'll need to work together especially if they don't want to lose the things they love most.
Visually Stunning Environments
In the game, you get to take on a visually stunning journey on land and water. There's the flora of uncharted rainforests and the magical atmosphere of river caves. For those of you who have the courage can try and cross the treacherous swamp. Along the way you'll meet a lot of local wildlife. However, you'll to know which one are friends and which are the enemies.
Evolving Gameplay
The journey is filled with innovative and fun river-themed challenges. Indeed, the further you travel, the more mechanics to experience and more puzzles to solve. For you to succeed, you'll have to work with your vital. This is a game that's all about teamwork.
Boss Fights
There's no doubt that the journey ahead is scary. Do what you can to master the key co-op mechanics early in the game to get all the needed skills to defeat the enemies. What you need to remember is that the bosses aren't necessarily evil. However, they do have anger issues that need for them to get professional help.
Co-op Mode
While the game has been designed to be played by two individuals, the studio revealed that they didn't like the idea that this game can only be played in one way. This is why the LoneWolf has been added. There's also a special control mode which lets you play as both characters but using only one controller.
