Rewards For Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled's First Grand Prix Have Been Revealed

The first Grand Prix event for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is just a day away, and publisher Activision is sharing more and more details for this huge update that will see an enormous slew of new content dropping, all unlockable by participation in this online event.

Just yesterday, I reported on some of the major details to expect on the July 3 update, which will not only add the Nitro Tour Grand Prix content, but also offer some major bug fixes for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. The worst of these is the game-breaking save corruption bug for the PlayStation 4, which is being experienced by players who participate in Time Trial events; expect to see a fix for this along with the big update tomorrow.

Yesterday was also the day when Activision finally showed players what they can expect to earn as rewards for the Nitro Tour Grand Prix for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. Check out the official tweet from the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter account below.

As you can see, the rewards list is quite expansive, and most of it broken down into tiers within the Nitro Points Bar. Of course, you can also earn some of the more special prizes through the Pit Stop using Wumpa Coins, which you earn from racing and completing various challenges.

Here’s some of the Nitro Points Bar tiered rewards, along with their corresponding tiers.

• Bronze Tier – Bandibuggy Kart, Hieroglyphs 1 Sticker, Bandibuggy Green Paint, Hieroglyphs 2 Sticker, Bandibuggy Wheels, Tawna
• Silver Tier – Splinters Decal, Wings Sticker, Rocket Blue Paint, Avalanche Decal, Cortex Pharaoh Sticker, Racer Crunch
• Gold Tier – Rocket Kart, Rocket Wheels, Fire Storm Decal, Winged Crown Decal, Tawna Sticker, Motorsport Tawna

The Pit Stop will also be updated with new items in stock, ranging from character skins, to new karts and stickers. Check out some of the new stuff incoming with the Nitro Tour Grand Prix.

• Nitro Squad and their respective Motorsport Skins
• Biker Crash and Tiny Biker Skins
• Painter Dingodile Skin
• Crash Test Dummy N. Gin Skin
• Lechaux Kart Set
• 31 Flag Stickers for different countries, as well as their matching Paint Jobs

Of course, there are incentives to those who strive to place high on the Grand Prix Leaderboards. A very special Champion Kart and Signature Decal awaits those who place in the top five percent of the overall leaderboards, which will be tallied after the Nitro Tour Grand Prix.

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled’s Nitro Tour Grand Prix will arrive tomorrow on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
