Want to elevate your Resident Evil 7 biohazard experience for the PlayStation VR? Buy Capcom’s 4D candle.

What’s a 4D candle, you might be asking yourself. Well, we can tell you it’s no Mahogany Teakwood from Bath and Body Works. You won’t get a whiff of the 4D candle and think a big, strong man is in your home at the ready to rub your feet and tell you how beautiful you are in sweatpants and no makeup.

Instead, the company Numskull has created this “4D” candle to enhance your VR experience. This is the description of the product from Numskull’s official site:

“This 4D Candle is the perfect way to set the scene when playing Resident Evil VII with the scent of the Baker House Mansion, which enhances the horrifying experience. The candle is specifically tailored to the game and will make you feel like you’re actually standing in the abandoned plantation house.”

The candle will burn for about 25 hours and is “horror-scented,” whatever that means. We imagine it smells like burning wood mixed with hair that’s caught on fire. Ladies, don’t act like you’re never walked by a candle and accidentally shed a strand of hair into the mix. Better yet, don’t act like you’ve never turned up the heat too high on your curling iron and singed some of your hair off.

We’ll pass on the “4D” candle as we’re too irresponsible to play with an open flame around our PlayStation VR. Still, we get what you were trying to do, Capcom. Kudos for the effort. We’ll use our noggins to imagine what the smell of sulfur mixed with flesh would be like.

The Resident Evil 7 biohazard hype is real. You can get your copy of Resident Evil 7 biohazard for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One and PC on Jan. 24.
