Last week, Red Dead Online released its Bounty Hunter update. It made the Specialist Role more enticing to play. If you’re one of those who tried the role, then you’ll love this week’s update. This is because the Legendary Bounties are back with a new hunt.
The question is: do you have what it takes to take down Carmela “La Muñeca” Montez? Recently instituted as the head of the notorious Del Lobos gang, she and her posse are reported responsible for a recent string of highway robberies. Much like her nickname, her eyes are both unloving and dead, while her expression is a total blank. It’s said that right now, the gang is holed up at the Hanging Dog Ranch.
Starting the Hunt
To start the hunt, players need to have the Prestigious Bounty Hunter License. Those who have can pick up her wanted poster at any sheriff’s office. Then, players can take on the hunt again by revisiting the Bounty Board. But it isn't easy to do since the difficulty is increased.
As a bonus, all Bounties are handing out an additional 50% reward. Just visit each Bounty Board to get a different adventure and the chance to track the most wanted criminals. If that’s not enough, all Bounty Hunters get a 30% discount on the horse of their choice. Meanwhile, those who manage to finish a Legendary Bounty Mission will get an extra offer of 30% off to a weapon of their choice.
Bonuses & Benefits
There’s no question that this week is all about the Bounty Hunter. Yet that doesn’t mean other roles will get nothing. From December 8 to December 21, Naturalists and Hunter who visit Gus’ Store will receive these goodies:
- 5 Special Health Cures
- 200 Express Rifle Ammo rounds
- 10 pieces of Big Game Meat
For this week as well, players who have the Outlaw Pass No. 4 will get:
- 5,000 Player XP
- 2 Rewards
- Each grant a free Ability Card
Discounts
This week, Collectors and Naturalists get 5 Gold Bars off the cost of the Collector’s Bag and Sample Kit. There’s also 40% off on all cosmetic Collector’s Role Items, Novice, and Promising Naturalist Items. Plus, players who find any Collectible this week will earn an offer for a free Emote.
Hunters and marksmen, on the other hand, should feel happy to know that they'll get 30% off on Bolt-Action and Elephant Rifles. The same discount is offered to everything in Gus’ Store.
Prime Gaming
We end this week’s update with Prime Gaming benefits. For those not familiar, these are Red Dead Online players who connected their Rockstar Games Social Club account to Prime Gaming. This week's rewards are:
