Rainbow Six Siege Apocalypse Event is Live

Rainbow Six Siege Ubisoft

Rainbow Six Siege’s seasonal event revolves around apocalyptic earth. The 5v5 game mode is called Apocalypse and will feature the Outback map with an outbreak theme going on. The game mode is pretty similar to the existing game mode “bomb.”

The difference between the two game modes is that in Apocalypse, defenders can move the container around the map, which can’t be done in the regular mode. As an attacker, players will be able to activate specific scanner rooms to know if a defender is inside. The main objective is to plant/protect the bomb or kill all enemies until one team wins.

The Keepers, a faction of defenders, consist of Maestro, Melusi, Rook, Smoke, and Valkyrie. On the other hand, The Warband, a faction of attackers, is composed of Fuze, Gridlock, Maverick, Nomad, and Twitch.

THE APOCALYPSE COLLECTION

The Apocalypse collection includes 35 items for playable operators in the event. Make sure to log in during the event to receive a free pack to get started with the collection. You may receive the pack-exclusive seasonal weapon skin or one of the four charms.

These items can be purchased according to the operator as well. So, if you want the cosmetics for Maestro, you must buy the entire bundle for the operator that includes headgears, weapon skins, and uniforms. It is priced at 1,680 R6 credits for each operator, which can be a bit expensive. However, for those who don’t want to spend money, they can buy the Apocalypse Packs for 300 R6 credits or 12,500 Renown to get one random drop from the bundle.

The Apocalypse event is currently live and will last until May 18.
