Ubisoft has just revealed a brand-new Rainbow Six Siege Velvet Shell trailer to introduce the DLC's second operator – Elena Maria Álvarez, AKA Mira. Check out the latest trailer below:

"Let's see those pretty faces."

In Rainbow Six Siege, breakable walls and murder hole placement can make or break a match. Yet so far, only attackers Thermite and Hibana have the ability to breach a reinforced wall. At first glance, it looks like Mira is bringing the wall-breach ability to the defensive team, but why oh why would you want to put a hole through a wall the team has worked so hard to reinforce?

If you took a closer look, you'll see the word "Expulsar" floating at the bottom of the picture and realize Mira's special ability isn't making a murder hole through a reinforced wall after all – it's a piece of glass!

It appears the benefit here is the ability to take away a blindspot without compromising protection. However, it's hard to determine whether a well-timed frag or C4 could break the glass. It would also be interesting to determine whether Mira could utilize her glass over Castle's barricades as well.

Mira is equipped with the Vector .45 ACP or ITA12L as primary weapons and the ITA12S or USP 40 as her secondary.

Mira joins attacker Jackal in the new Rainbow Six Siege Operation Velvet Shell Update. The DLC is slated to arrive Tuesday, Feb. 7, to PS4, Xbox One and PC. Be sure to also stay tuned On Ubisoft's Six Invitational tournament on Feb. 3 through Feb. 5 to watch gameplay videos featuring the new operators.

Now it's your turn: Do you like Mira's new ability? Will you looking forward to using her in matches? Let us know in the comment section below.
