Rainbow Six Siege’s The Esports Club League just concluded its fifth playday for division two matches. The tournament has a prize pool of $1,800, which is very high for the South Asia competitive scene. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all the matches will be held online instead of the more traditional LAN environment. The prize pool of the tournament will be split and awarded to the top five teams in every division. You can find the prize pool split here.

The ongoing The Esports Club League is a league-based competition, where every team has to face all their opponents from the same division. After all the matches are played out, every team will have earned points that are determined by the team's wins. The bottom three teams of every division then get demoted to the lower division, or even relegated if you are in division three, which is the lowest division in this league. You can watch live streams of every game on the TEC YouTube page.

The most exciting matchup for the fifth playday was between Vector Sports and Havox Esports. The match was played on Villa, which is a very utility-heavy map. The match was one-sided for Vector Sports. The team was able to dominate Havox with completely new strategies revolving around operators such as Montagne and Twitch, which allowed Vector Sports to take an easy victory with a 7-0 scoreline. Havox wanted to play this match as a frag-focused team, but Vector was able to counter them easily by just outsmarting them.

Another exciting match to watch was between Team Area and Instinct Esports. This match was played on Kafe Dostoyevsky. This map is known to be a super strategy-heavy map that favors the defending side. The match went 8-6 in favor of Instinct, with the game being super close in terms of score. Both teams were confident about their fragging potential, but they were terrible when it came to strategies and execution.
