Rainbow Six Siege North American League Stage 2 has finished its final playday. The final team to qualify for the Six August 2021 Major was decided today.

DarkZero Esports vs. XSET

The match between these two teams was played on Consulate, which is an attacker-sided map. DZ started on the attack and managed to get three rounds. But they messed up their attacks because the defenders played the same thing during execution. However, when DZ switched to defense, they played more aggressively that prevented XSET from executing properly into the site. This coordination allowed DZ to win four rounds, and finish the game with a 7-4 scoreline.

DarkZero is the final team to qualify for the Six Major. On the other hand, XSET is sitting in eighth place, just safe from relegation.

Team SoloMid vs. Oxygen Esports

The match between these teams was played on Oregon, which is a defender-sided map. Oxygen started on the attack and won four rounds. Their coordination allowed them to win multiple rounds, unlike TSM that heavily relied on their gunfights. The first half resulted in a 4-2 scoreline. Oxygen was able to carry their winning momentum and finish the game against TSM with a 7-3 scoreline.

This victory for Oxygen puts them at sixth place, but will not qualify for the Six Major. The loss for TSM doesn’t change much since they are still in second place and have qualified for the Major.

Susquehanna Soniqs vs. Disrupt Gaming

These teams decided to play on Consulate. The operator Zero ban from DG was quite weird because he does not bring too much utility for the team. Soniqs started on the attack and went 3-3, an unimpressive score because the map favors attackers. However, they were able to dominate Disrupt Gaming on the defense by winning four rounds. Soniqs won the match with a 7-4 scoreline.
