The battle for the Rainbow Six Siege Clash of Nations is all set to start today at DreamHack Leipzig. This competition serves as the highlight of the nine month long competition in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Indeed, it's the culmination of three separate LAN events. The tournament offers a €30,000 prize pool, which is by far the biggest for a European national esports program to date.

Clash of Nations includes four teams battling it out with German champion OrgLess being the tournament favorite. Then there's mYinsanity of Switzerland, who hopes to walk away with the win, especially with their comeback during the Grand Final of the Swiss National. Austria is represented by Alpenfestung Esports. The fourth team will join the tournament after a Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) qualifier.

In a statement released on the Ubisoft website, OrgLess Team Captain Niklas “nKS” Massierer, who is a two-time Pro League Champion, revealed that their biggest challenge is going to be the unpredictability of their opponents. OrgLess will play against mYinsanity first, which according to nKS, had an excellent showing during their own nationals. That said, nKS thinks mYinsanity has yet to fully show what their playstyle really is. Ultimately, nKS said that he thinks the team "should not be underestimated, as they might just make an aggressive play that you wouldn’t expect.”

In addition to being a really competitive event, Clash of Nations is the biggest celebration of Germany's local Rainbow Six community. This is where many of the well-known pro players, artists, and even cosplayers gather. To bring the excitement of the event up a notch, dedicated anthems have been made for each country's team.
