Pokken Tournament’s first patch update is ready to roll out and will fix various bugs that have surfaced in the weeks since its release, including an exploit using a specific OP character in the Pokemon fighting game.

According to the official Pokken Tournament website, Version 1.2 will be released in early April and among the various bug fixes and character balances is the removal of the Shadow Mewtwo infinite combo glitch.

The Pokken Tournament site describes the first patch update as “correcting the issue that enables Shadow Mewtwo to force opponents to continually block by using certain moves repeatedly.”

Reshiram, one of the stronger Support Pokemon in the game, will also be getting a character balance. The site also says that various other bugs will be fixed with the upcoming April patch update.

As the time of this writing, Version 1.2 of Pokken Tournament has not been released but once it goes live we will update the story with all the particulars of the upcoming patch.
