The Pokémon Company is launching a new contest called Pokémon Presents Super Pet Contest. This event is inspired by the Super Contest Shows featured in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl.

The contest runs until November 9 and is only available for those in the US, UK, France, and Germany. What players and fans need to do is enter photos of their pets into three different categories: Clever, Cute, and Cool.

New photos are displayed every day, where everyone has the chance to vote for their favorite photos up to 10 times per day.

Prizes

For each category, there will be four prizes up for grabs. Prizes include the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Pokémon Shining Pearl Dual Packs as well as the Nintendo Switch Lite Dialga & Palkia Editions. There’s also the Pokémon Plush and a Pokémon basket. The winners are going to be announced on November 16.

The Judge

This being a truly exciting contest, the winners are going to be decided by a celebrity judge. It’s been revealed that it’s none other than Michelle Visage. She’s a global TV sensation, a pop legend, and an all-around superstar. Michelle brings her glam, glitz, and well-known judging acumen to a different new level for this contest.

In a statement, Michelle shared that their house is actually full of Pokémon fans and even animal lovers. She added that this contest is a fun way to celebrate what it means to have an animal companion. Michelle went on to say that she’s excited to see what participants have to offer. If you’re excited, join the contest here.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl will be released on November 19 on Nintendo Switch. These two games are a remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, both released on Nintendo DS in 2007. The game brings players to the Sinnoh region, where they meet Professor Rowan, fight against Team Galactic, and explore the Grand Underground. It is part of the eighth generation of video games in the Pokémon franchise.
