According to the latest report from GameRant, two retailers in the United States, Best Buy and Walmart, have announced their exclusive pre-order bonuses on, which offer unique freebies for players.
It is important to note that these are exclusive to each retailer and mean that only one of the items offered by either Best Buy or Walmart is available for users, especially as it is expected to be of limited availability.
That being said, it was not revealed by either retailer how many of the free bonuses are available to the public, but they would be available until stocks last.
Moreover, there are no assurances given by either Best Buy or Walmart for the free items available as pre-order bonuses from the game's purchase, so it is best to secure one's order as early as possible.
Best Buy's Exclusive Pre-Order Bonus
Best Buy offers multiple options for the pre-order of the "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" game, but all of these copies get only one type of bonus exclusive to the retailer, and that is a gamer mat featuring the title's theme.
The "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" gamer mat from Best Buy features a map of Lumiose City, the main setting of the game, which the retailer says could be used for multiple setups.
The gamer mat freebie may be used as a mat for playing the Pokémon Trading Card game or used as a mouse pad that could extend well enough over one's table and also house the keyboard and other desk accessories.
Apart from the Lumiose City map, the gamer mat also features the three starter creatures on "Pokémon Legends: Z-A", Tepig, Totodile, and Chikorita, as well as the Eternal Flower Floette and 10% Forme Zygarde.
Players may choose among the Nintendo Switch version of "Pokémon Legends: Z-A" in physical or digital copies for $59.99, or the Switch 2 version of the game in physical and digital copies as well for $69.99.
Walmart's Exclusive Pre-Order Bonus
On the other hand, Walmart only offers a physical copy of both original Switch and Switch 2 versions of "Pokémon Legends: Z-A," both getting the pre-order bonus of a mystery pin featuring one of the three starter Pokémon.
Walmart will not reveal which starter a customer is getting from their pre-order once it ships out.
