Pokémon GO to Welcome the New Year with a Bunch of Activities

There’s a lot of activities being planned this January for Pokémon GO. However, that hasn’t stopped the game from offering trainers more things to do and enjoy this month. New activities are scheduled as part of the New Year celebration event from December 31 to January 4.

For the duration of the event, trainers can enjoy these bonuses:

• 2X Hatch Stardust
• 2X Hatch Candy
• 1/2 Hatch Distance

Before we forget, since it's all about celebrating the New Year, prepare to see fireworks from December 31 to January 2.

The highlight of this event is that trainers can encounter costumed Pokémon. The New Year’s Hat Hoothoot and 2022 Glasses Slowking will make their official debut. Those lucky enough even have a chance to meet a Shiny Hoothoot. Other Pokémon that can be encountered during this event are:
