Pokémon GO: Check Out What's Happening This May

It's that time again when we get to check out what events are happening in Pokémon GO. For May, there are the usual monthly activities and new events to look out for.

Before we look into what those new events are, let's start first with this month's Community Day. For May, the featured Pokémon is none other than Alolan Geodude. That means this Rock Pokémon is going to appear more frequently in the wild. Learn more about what the May Community Day has to offer here.

Upcoming Events

Three upcoming events are happening this May with one of them starting tomorrow, May 3. Pokémon Air Adventures features Mega Latias and Mega Latios, the first Legendary Pokémon able to Mega Evolve. This event ends on May 8. The other two are:

• Water Festival
  • May 12 to May 20
  • Look out for a surge of Water-type Pokémon.
• Alola to Alola
  • May 25 to May 31
  • Celebrate and look back at all the adventures Trainers have had this year with Pokémon found in Alola.
