Nyck Caution blew us all away with his surprise EP, 22 , released just a month ago. Now the Pro Era rapper is ready to debut his first album, Disguise The Limit, on Feb. 29. Caution officially announced the album’s release date last night at the Knicks game. The Fader captured Caution as he celebrated courtside and held up a sign outside of Madison Square Garden. Take a look:

Nyck slayed his last release and “Light Through The Cracks Freestyle” quickly became a fan favorite. Ever since, Pro Era followers have been anxiously waiting for Caution to confirm the album name and set an official release date. After teasing “coming real soon” and the album's name on numerous occasions, some fans couldn't fathom waiting any longer for Caution to bless us with more Pro Era sounds.

It’s unclear who else from Pro Era may drop a verse on Disguise The Limit, but one things for sure: Joey Bada$$ and Caution have something special lined up. During a HNHH interview, Caution talked specifically about one 5-6 minute record with Joey Bada$$ that will be included on the album.

“The record we have on the project isn't like anything I've ever heard in life ever. It’s literally like a trip,” said Caution. “I don't want people to expect anything from me because I got a lot more than they expect. ‘Church’ is just a taste.”

Joey Bada$$ chimed in and spoke about how Caution’s talent. “Once you hear the full project it's like wow, he’s also a full artist as well. He can compose songs,” Joey Bada$$ said. “Nyck is a talented MC. Everyone already knows Nyck is a spitter. He is lyrical and he excels in that range, but when I heard the full project, it was like okay, wow.”

The album will focus on Caution’s life growing up in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, which Joey explains was much different than his own upbringing in Bed-Stuy. “His project for me opened my eyes a lot because we are from two different neighborhoods. His project brought me into his world, which is slightly different from mine. These guys are sniffin coke. These guys are poppin pills. There’s nothing like it out right now.”

Pro Era released the music video for Caution’s “Light Through The Cracks (Oh My Freestyle) this week. Caution also dropped a track featuring Pro Era labelmate Dirty Sanchez called, “For Sure (Skrt Remix).” Watch and listen below:
