NieR Replicant Launches Digital Art Gallery

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 announced the launch of a digital art gallery that displays 11 works of art created by international artists. This was to celebrate the release of the game along with the 11th anniversary of the NieR franchise.

Each piece of artwork displayed in the gallery not only highlights the unique style of the artist that made them but also honors the iconic heroes of the franchise. Indeed, the different artworks managed to capture the atmosphere and theme of the series but in a more modern style. You can view the different artworks here.

NieR Replicant

said that in a statement that the online exhibit was made possible by Square Enix in partnership with the French Paper Gallery. The artists involved in this project are:

  • Førtifem (France)
    • Førtifem is the creative communion between Jesse Daubertes and Adrien Havet.
    • The two had worked previously as graphic designers before decided to join together under a common name.
  • Lorenzo De Felici (Italy)
    • Lorenzo first worked in the cinema industry but later decided to settle in Rome to be a full-time comic book artist.
    • He is currently working with Robert Kirkman (author of “The Walking Dead” Series) on a project titled “Oblivion Song.”
  • El Marques (Spain)
    • An illustrator and graphic designer, Adria Marquès' works are mainly illustrating books, magazines, and working for brands.
    • He also designs record artwork, posters, and merchandising for different bands and music labels.
  • Guy-Pascal Vallez (France)
    • Also known as GAX, this illustrator and comics artist is a well-known RPG enthusiast.
    • One of his trademarks is his unique colorful watercolor finish.
  • Ammo (Belgium)
    • Ammo works as an illustrator and poster designer.
    • He likes to draw with small lines, little dots, graphite, inks, and loud music.
  • Alex Wezta (Russia)
    • This artist is known for his medieval icons and Roman-inspired art.
    • He puts attention to his works through his attention to the structures and architecture of his drawings. This makes all the scenes organic.
  • Nicolas Come (France)
    • This tattoo artist is nicknamed Sinpiggyhead.
    • He creates his own universe, one that’s dark but also filled with fun and melancholia.
    • He mainly works in black dots.
  • Rob Bowyer (UK)
    • Known as MassiveFace, he enjoys skulls, dingy cyberpunk, and fantasy characters.
    • His art style is highly popular in the fantasy illustration industry.
  • Guillaume Singelin (France)
    • He is considered as one of the leaders of the new wage of illustration artists from France.
    • His genre is a mix of Japanese manga and US indie illustration.
    • Meanwhile, his graphic skills go with an extremely talented way of creating strips.
  • Nikita Kaun (Russia)
    • Many consider his work to be almost hypnotic mainly because of his surrealism.
    • He likes to mix black and white textures with minimal pops of color.
  • Francesca Pusceddu (Scotland)
    • A Spanish artist living in Glasgow, she makes use of traditional forms of illustration and applies them to contemporary themes.
    • She utilizes a multi-technical approach for the realization of illustrations.
