Here’s the official description of Shinobi Striker, including what some of the features entail.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a high-speed four vs. four multiplayer title that encourages cooperative play through the use of character-specific roles. Characters are split up into four roles: Attack, Ranged, Defense, and Heal. Teams that utilize these four types of characters will be formidable opponents on the battlefield. Players can choose between existing characters from the NARUTO TO BORUTO universe, or create a custom character for the first time in a NARUTO title!

One of the big selling points of Shinobi Striker is the character creation mode. In this mode, players can create their own shinobi for the first time and choose between the aforementioned four roles. Attack-style ninja have high strength, power and speed. Ranged-style ninja are masters of long-range jutsu, including Fire-type and Lightning jutsu. Genjutsu are also used by the Ranged-style ninja. Defense-style ninja use defensive-type jutsu, which includes barriers and jutsu like the Shadow Imitation jutsu. Healing ninja use their jutsu to heal chakra and health. The Byakugan was used as an example of what these types of ninja can use.

Players can choose to have a weapon, sub-weapon and change how they look and what jutsu they will use.

The character creation mode will probably not be available in the closed beta, but Naruto fans will get their fill of ninja action.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One in 2018.
