Monster Hunter Collab Event in Street Fighter 6 is Now Live

A new collaboration event is now live in Street Fighter 6 which is sure to have a lot of players happy. The Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary in-game event has fighters decked out in a Monster Hunter gear. That means there's going to be themed avatar gear, emotes, and even special titles available for players to unlock through the Fighting Pass. There are also different in-game collaborative events launching.

Here are some details of this new collaboration event:

  • Join the fight in the Battle Hub while being decked out in Monster Hunter decor.
    • Get to enjoy listening to your favorite Monster Hunter music.
  • Rathalos and Rathian are more than happy to join you in the photo booth and spice up those pictures.
  • For the duration of the event, players get to watch one Tutorial within Fighting Ground to get the Wyvern Jawblade avatar gear.
  • The next Street Voter event kicks off with the age-old question which is "What's your favorite Monster Hunter weapon?"
    • Voting opens on April 8.
    • All voters will receive 2,000 Drive Tickets.
  • Limited time Monster Hunter weapon shaped accessories are available for purchase from the Hub Goods Shop via Fighter Coins or Drive Tickets.
    • Earn Drive Tickets from challenges.
    • Multiple weapons can even be equipped together.
  • Premium rewards for the Fighting Pass include:
    • avatar gear like Rathalos Helm, Mail, Coil, Greaves, and Felyne Head
    • "Happy Hunting!" photo frame
    • "Gimmie it Well-Done!" player title
    • "Hunter's Dance" emote

Now exciting as the new collab event is, that's not all that's happening in the game. There's also additional content coming that include:

  • The classic arcade game "Magic Sword" arrives at the Battle Hub Game Center as an unlockable premium reward.
  • Kimberly and JP are both celebrating their birthdays this month.
  • Celebrate with them and get the chance to earn Drive Tickets and bonus Kudos.
  • Players can also join in character-specific tournaments.

Street Fighter 6 was launched in June 2023 and has since sold more than three million units. It brings the Street Fighter series to a new level with a combination of unique fighting game innovations that's brimming with content across three brand new game modes which are Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. It's available on the PC through Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
