Mass Effect Andromeda , Titanfall 2 , and the next Battlefield game will all be releasing some time during the second half of game publisher EA’s fiscal year. This means between October 2016 and March 2017. This news comes from GameSpot ’s coverage of EA’s earnings report. No specific dates were announced, but EA has narrowed down potential release windows.

"You should assume that a Battlefield will come typically in the third quarter, when we normally have it," EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said on the call. "We're not yet announcing when Titanfall or Mass Effect Andromeda will come, but you should assume that's in the back half of the year as well because the second quarter [July-September] is so dominated by our sports titles."

Given this information, and knowing what other games EA has planned in the coming months, here’s a guess at EA’s major game release schedule. The games with an asterisk are the ones we know the release date on for sure:

February - Unravel* , Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2*

March - EA Sports UFC 2*

May - Mirror’s Edge Catalyst*

August - Madden NFL 17

September - NHL 17 , NBA Live 17 , FIFA 17

October - Next Battlefield game

November - Mass Effect Andromeda

March 2017 - Titanfall 2

This is all speculation at this point, but given the general landscape of game releases, I wouldn’t doubt reality will be too far off from my prediction. October has been getting into the bigger game release spirit lately, so seeing Battlefield release around then makes sense. November is typically the king of long single-player games, so that’s why Mass Effect Andromeda coming out around then makes the most sense.

Due to how little we know of Titanfall 2 , I’m putting this one on the back burner. January and February are also typically slow months for game releases, so this is why I’m thinking EA will hold Titanfall 2 to March.

So what do you think? Are you excited to play any of these new games? Do you think my predicted release schedule is going to be right or wrong? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
