Mass Effect: Andromeda details are scarce, but the game’s director, Michael Gamble, is teasing reveals related to characters and ships on N7 Day. His tweets hint at a tiny bit of what to expect on Nov. 7.

First off, Gamble began getting giddy about N7 Day on Saturday when he posted a picture of his wife in N7 attire. “I wonder why she’s getting excited for N7 Day,” he playfully asked. That tweet was quickly followed up with confirmation that the game’s developers at BioWare are in the midst of “planning what to show.” Clearly a major showcase is expected for the next few weeks.

It’s hard to know precisely what to expect from such an ambiguous event, but Gamble went further to offer a few hints. After discussing the occasion, he mentioned he “spent some time in the Tempest today” and that it “just might be my favorite when compared to the Normandy of the original trilogy. With regard to further details, the producer told followers that he “can’t wait to show [us] all more.”

Ships are one thing, but characters are quite another for fans of the Mass Effect universe. One of Andromeda’s biggest related mysteries is the blue Asari companion who made their presence known during BioWare’s E3 2016 developer diary. Fans have been clamoring to know the character’s first name, and apparently those details are set to be revealed “very soon.” N7 Day is coming up quite soon, so it seems probable we’ll see this tease resolved in the next few weeks.

Mass Effect: Andromeda has had a somewhat tortured development between plot leaks, departed staff and fan anticipation. If the N7 teases are any indication, Nov. 7 could very well be the biggest tease we’ve seen from the game to date. It was briefly shown during Sony’s PlayStation Meeting in September, but it was hard to get a true feel of the gameplay or plot from that small glimpse.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled to come to PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2017. Recent leaks suggest arrival on March 21.
