If you're excited about Marvel's Midnight Suns, we have great news for you. It's been revealed that it is launching on December 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch will launch at a later date.
In August last year, it was announced that the game would arrive in March 2022. A few months later, it was announced that the release date was pushed back to October 7. Then, in early August 2022, it was again pushed back, and this time, next year, around the first quarter of 2023. Hopefully, this announcement is the real deal.
Prequel Shorts
While waiting, fans can enjoy Marvel's Midnight Suns Prequel Shorts. This is a set of five short videos giving us a backstory on how Lilith became the Mother of Demons. It's also giving us a look into how Blade, Magik, Ghost Rider, and Nico Minoru came together and formed the young core of Midnight Suns.
In a statement, Firaxis Games Creative Director Jake Solomon shared that the game offered them a chance to dive deep into Marvel's dark side, and introduces supernatural heroes that some Marvel fans may not yet be familiar with or even know. He added that the Prequel Shorts aims to shed light on the events that lead up to the game.
Pre-Order Now
Pre-order for Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available. Players who pre-order the Standard Edition, Enhanced Edition, or Digital+ Edition get the Doctor Strange Defenders Skin. Meanwhile, those who pre-order the Legendary Edition get 30-day early access to the Doctor Strange Defenders Skin.
The Standard Edition only has the base game, while the others have additional goodies in the form of premium skins, such as:
