The first major update for Guardians of the Galaxy is finally here. It doesn’t add any major content, but it provides performance optimizations, gameplay improvements, and bug fixes.

On the PC, the mouse cursor will no longer stay on the screen whenever you modify your key bindings. The developers from Eidos-Montreal also added graphics memory improvements so that the game becomes smoother and less prone to stall issues, especially on more modest setups.

If you have already beaten the game and are thinking about continuing via the New Game+, you may encounter an issue where canceling the action would result in the creation of a normal new game instead. This has thankfully been fixed.

For some chapter-specific fixes, the problem where you may get stuck after selecting a banter in Chapter 2 has been resolved. Furthermore, the Grenadier, who would occasionally not spawn as intended, has been addressed.
