For those who want to know more about the upcoming game Mario Strikers: Battle League, there's a demo event happening this weekend. The Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick demo event is available from June 3 to June 5.
This demo event is available to all Nintendo Switch Online members. It can now be downloaded for free in the Nintendo eShop and My Nintendo Store.
The demo event gives access to online team battles and the training mode. There are even some pre-season “friendlies” more than willing to help players prepare for match day.
Joining a Match
Before joining a match, players have the option to try out the training mode. Here, they can learn the basics like shooting, passing, tackling, and the more advanced skills and moves.
Once players get accustomed to the controls, they can then try and go against other strikers online on these dates and times during the demo event:
- June 3
- 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. ET
- June 4
- 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. ET
- 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET
- 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. ET
- June 5
- 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. ET
- 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET
Online Matches
Players need to form a team to take part in matches. Each team must consist of players from two Nintendo Switch consoles, with a maximum of two players per console. Players can invite friends and play together online or team up with random others online.
One advantage of joining the demo event is that it allows players to try out the 10 playable characters and see how their unique abilities work.
Membership
Only those with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can join the demo event. However, there's a free seven-day trial, so those with no membership can participate. This offer is valid even if the player used a free trial before. The free trial also opens access to the demo event and all related benefits.
