Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 takes the series to a new dimension with 10 classic 2D events and 21 3D events. Releasing exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 hits US shelves on November 5. The release date for Europe is a few days later on November 8.

    • Debut events including surfing, skateboarding, karate, and sport climbing are all playable in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020; joining the classic event line-up of gymnastics, swimming, 110m hurdles, football, equestrian, and archery.
  • Different Ways to Play
    • Exclusively on Nintendo Switch, determine who the real champion is while using the fun and flexibility of the Joy-Con controllers to your advantage. However, it should be noted that Joy-Con functionality does not extend to all events.
  • Split-Screen and Online Fun
    • Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 delivers multiplayer, both local split-screen and online, fun for all ages and groups. Logically, internet connection is required during online play. In order to use online services, players must create a Nintendo Account and accept the accompanying agreements.
