It’s a busy day for League of Legends. First we got a brand new board game and now we have four new Star Guardian skins. Star Guardians Jinx, Lulu, Janna and Poppy are joining Lux in the fight against evil and dark stuff. These skins were teased just a few days ago, but now we get to see their full kits.
Each skin is covered in star iconography, from Janna’s tornado to Jinx’s Super-Mega Death Rocket. I didn’t know how many sparkly colors one skin could hold, but now I’ve seen it all. These “Sailor Moon meets Runeterra” skins should be on the PBE in the coming weeks, just in time for the League of Legends World Championship.
My favorite of these skins is Star Guardian Poppy. She’s got a hammer that she stole from King Dedede from Kirby and a hairstyle Hatsune Miku would be proud of. She’s so kawaii that my stomach churns just thinking about all the LP I’ll be able to gain. Nobody's going to want to kill you when you are wearing that skin, it’s just wrong.
There aren’t any details on their prices yet, but Star Guardian Lux costs 1350 RP, so expect the rest of her gang to be around the same price.
