PQube Games, a UK-based gaming company, revealed that it has partnered with Arc System Works for a Europe release of the KILL la Kill - IF. While no details of the actual release have been announced, the game itself is set for release this year in Japan and will be available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.

This reveal could be good news to fans of the Kill la Kill series in the US, as a Europe release would mean that they may be able to access the game.

Kill la Kill – IF is a 3D battle action game that allows players to make use of short ranged or long ranged attacks. Unlike some fighting games, Kill la Kill – IF provides new and experienced fighting game players the chance to play without the need to learn complicated commands. A variety of attacks can be access through simple inputs.

A campaign mode is sure to delight fans as it was written by Kazuki Nakashima, who also served as the head writer of Kill la Kill’s anime adaptation. Players can go head-to-head against the CPU or against other players, offline or online. Ranked matches are available for those who want their results recorded.

A Challenge Mode is also new, offering players different challenges to tackle. These include Survival Challenges, where players need to defeat waves of random CPU-controlled opponents. Players can also take on the One Minute Challenge, where they try to defeat as many enemies as they can in under a minute. Additionally, the Hundred Enemies Challenge, sees how fast players can defeat 100 enemies.

Eight characters have been announced so far. These include Ryuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuin, of course. The Elite Four are included as well: Ira Gamagoori, Uzu Sanageyama, Nonon Jakazure, and Houka Inumuta. Rounding it up are Nui Harime and Ragyo Kiryuin. Alternate versions of Ryuko and Satsuki have also been revealed.
