According to Japan’s Mac Otakara, a source shared information that claims a Lightning cable adapter will come with the highly anticipated new iPhone 7, which reportedly will not come with a headphone jack.

This is despite the Facebook trending report Engadget fielded from a repair shop in China that claims the iPhone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. This report shared leaked photos of the iPhone 7 components, which included a dual camera module system for higher end models.

According to Mac Otakara ’s sources, however, the iPhone 7 will in fact lack the headphone jack and will instead come with dual speaker grills at the bottom of the device. These dual speakers, one of which is replacing the headphone jack, would still be a “monaural” system, according to the Mac Otakara , instead of stereo. A new 256GB hard drive version will also reportedly be available for the iPhone 7.

Woe be you if Mac Otakara turns out to be right and you lose the headphone adapter though. Judging from how Apple prices their current adapters, it will cost you to get it replaced.
