In astonishing news, the Humble Freedom Bundle has raised $6.73 million in support of human rights. Gamers raised $6.43 mil and the Humble Bundle team matched the remaining $300,000.

The Humble Freedom Bundle included over $600 worth of games for a required minimum payment of $30, with all proceeds going to three top-rated human rights charities: the American Civil Liberties Union, Doctors without Borders and International Rescue Committee.

Games included titles like The Witness (whose normal $39.99 sticker price is usually more than the cost of the whole bundle), Stardew Valley and Subnautica.

Over 201,427 copies of the Humble Freedom Bundle were ultimately sold, with $3 million in proceeds after a single day as more indie devs signed on to the bundle.

"We humbly remember that the United States is a nation of immigrants, and we proudly stand with developers, authors, and charities that champion liberty and justice for all," said Humble when it first launched the Freedom Bundle.

"We chose these three organizations because of the inspiring work they do in defense of justice, human rights, and civil rights."
