The Hearthstone Masters Tour Los Angeles is all set to start this weekend. The competition begins on March 20 and lasts until March 22. More than 300 invited players from over 40 countries are more than ready to fight for a large share of the $250,000 prize pool.

However, there's something different for this year. The tournament is going to be purely online and broadcast from NGE Studios. Today we guide you on how to watch this exciting tournament.

Actually, it's rather easy to watch the tournament. This is because back in January, we reported that Activision Blizzard had entered into a partnership with Google. Under the agreement, YouTube is going to serve as the worldwide streaming partner for Blizzard's esports leagues, which includes Hearthstone.

This means that Hearthstone fans can watch the Masters Tour Los Angeles on the official Hearthstone esports YouTube channel here. However, this channel is limited to English. For those looking for a different language, you can watch them here:

Here's what's going to happen in this tournament. The format is going to be a four deck, best-of five Conquest with a ban. The first day is going to consist of five rounds of Swiss while in Day Two players that have three or more match wins get to play through four more rounds of Swiss. Finally, on the thrid day the top eight players advance to a single elimination bracket with a winner eventually being crowned.

Players that manage at least a 7-2 result in this tournament qualify not only to the Masters Tour Jönköping, but also to the Masters Tour #4.

The Masters Tour Los Angeles is the second Major in the Master Tour 2020. Initially it was set to be in Bali, Indonesia. However the threat of the coronavirus resulted in Blizzard moving the tournament to Los Angeles. You can read more about that story here. As the threat of the coronavirus started to spread, it came to a point that a live event was out of consideration. Thus, the tournament is now going to be entirely online out of the safety and well-being of everyone. Read more about that here.

Time to free up that schedule and watch the game in the safety of your home.
