House of Lies season 5 premieres on Showtime April 10. The official trailer released a few weeks ago, but Showtime has dropped another teaser ahead of the first episode. It appears “The Pack Is Back,” including Jeannie.

Season 4 ended after Jeannie (Kristen Bell) and Marty (Don Cheadle) had a baby together. As usual, Kaan & Associates was in some trouble when Denna Altschuler ( Mary McCormack) revoked her investment in the company. Jeannie has accepted a position at another firm, but in the trailer, her boss is pictured accusing her of sexual harassment.

Harrison ‘Skip’ Galweather (Richard Schiff), CEO of Galweather & Stearn, offers to buy Kaan & Associates. He’s willing to shell out 7 times the firm’s revenue. “That’s so much money to just walk away from,” Marty tells Jeannie.

“I’ll take that as a yes...or no? God you’re good,” Jeannie says as Marty gives her a weird look. “I know,” Marty replies.

It’s seems pretty clear that Jeannie accepts Marty’s offer and comes back to Kaan & Associates. Like always, Marty assures her that he can’t be successful without her. But how will this play out seeing the two now have a child together? Maybe they can finally get along without wreaking havoc. As long as Jeannie doesn’t turn Marty in to the FBI and send him to jail, I think they’ll be okay.

In one behind the scenes sneak peek, Kristen Bell says, “I just don’t know if i can think of more unfit parents than Marty and Jeannie.” Could this mean something big is about to go down between the two of them? Not that a huge fight would be unexpected. At the end of last season, Marty was having some serious parenting issues with his teenage son. While Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) did not appear in the trailer, he was on the verge of being expelled for graffiting profane language at school.

It should be another fun season. In the teasers, Doug (Josh Lawson) is as awkward as ever, Clyde (Ben Schwartz) may get his life together following his father’s death, and the team clearly has some wild adventures in store. In one brief shot, they are all shown sniffing weed at a marijuana farm. Who knows what they are doing there.
