Early teasers indicate that "Silksong" is going to be faster, tougher, and equally engaging as its predecessor, promising a big launch for developer Team Cherry.

For anxious gamers who are preparing for their initial trip in "Silksong," these are the most important release times, according to TechRadar.

  • United States (East Coast): 10 AM ET
  • United States (West Coast): 7 AM PT
  • United Kingdom: 3 PM BST
  • Central Europe: 4 PM CEST

System Requirements on PC and Mac

Silksong is not a graphics-hungry game and can run on older equipment. PC gamers need a minimum of Windows 10 (version 21H1), an Intel Core i3 or AMD FX-4300 CPU, 4GB RAM, and a GeForce GTX 560 Ti or Radeon HD 7750 GPU. For recommended hardware, it asks for an Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a GeForce 1050 or Radeon R9 380.

Mac users will require macOS Big Sur 11 or later, an Intel Core i3 (minimum) or Intel i5/Apple M1 (recommended), 4–8GB RAM, and Metal-capable GPUs. Both systems demand a minimum storage of 8GB.

How Much Will 'Silksong' Be?

"Hollow Knight: Silksong" will retail for $19.99 / €19.99 / ¥2300, keeping in line with the initial "Hollow Knight" price when inflation-adjusted. Given that the initial game had an estimated eighty hours of content, "Silksong" should provide equal value with many side bosses, optional routes, and secrets to seek out.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will have access to "Silksong" at no extra charge beginning Sept. 4.
Before the "Silksong" hype, some players grew hopeless about whether Team Cherry would still release the indie game.

As of writing, other gamers still can't believe that they are getting the "Hollow Knight" sequel this time. One user said that when the game comes out, he's going to play it for at least an hour per upvote.

Since it's official that it will come on Wednesday, other Redditors joked that it's about time to downvote the post so he could be spared a few playing hours.

One Reddit user said that the highest-rated post in the subreddit has 63,300 upvotes. This means that the OP should play "Silksong" for seven years, two months, 19 days, and 12 hours.
