The upcoming expansion of Hearthstone is inviting everyone to a Voyage to the Sunken City. Prepare for an underwater expedition all the way to the ancient city of Zin-Azshari. This long-lost city offers beautiful sights along with hidden danger.
The Voyage to the Sunken City expansion launches worldwide on April 12 bringing 135 new collectible cards.
New Minion Type
Like the previous expansions, this one introduces a lot of new content to the game. The first is the new minion type called Naga. The vengeful Naga had been destroyed by their thirst for power and cursed for all eternity. The Naga is a spell-focused minion type that gives bonuses for playing spells while the Naga is in the player’s hand.
New Keywords
The ocean floor has a lot of massive monsters the likes of which have never been seen before. In fact, they are so massive that they couldn’t fit in one card. This brings us to the new keyword which is “Colossal.” Minions with this keyword have extra appendages able to synergize with their main body. These appendages are summoned with the main body, even if the minion with the keyword wasn’t played from hand.
Another new keyword is “Dredge.” What it does is allow players to look at the bottom three cards of their deck and choose one to go to the top of the deck. This game mechanic may appear simple at first, but it can be combined with other cards. The new expansion actually has new cards that allow players to send a card to the bottom of their deck.
