Halo Infinite is the next big entry in the long-running Halo franchise. The game was supposed to be a launch title for Xbox Series X|S, however, it got delayed to 2021. Many people thought that the reason for the delay was the poor reception of the game visuals. Also, the gameplay trailer shown a few months ago was heavily criticized for having below-average graphics.

Microsoft didn’t reveal the next release date or release window. But we may have some idea now. Bruce Thomas, the motion capture actor of Master Chief, said that the game should be ready for release by Spring 2021.

Keep in mind, this is not an official confirmation. Microsoft is yet to confirm any detail so, take it with a grain of salt. But given the initial release date in November, it would be fair to expect that the majority of the game is finished.

Infinite was meant to show off the power of Xbox Series X. Yet it looked like the game was five or six years old. 343 Industries later delayed the game and promised to improve the overall visuals. Then, developers claimed that the delay was due to the ongoing pandemic. They needed more time to develop and polish the game.

While you wait for the highly anticipated sequel, you can try out the Halo: Master Chief Collection on PC. The MCC looks and runs gloriously on the master race. You can buy the collection, which contains six Halo games, for only $39.99. 343 Industries recently completed the collection by releasing Halo 4 on PC .
