GTA V's single-player DLC doesn't exist, according to the voice actor for Michael Rockstar

It seems that every new week brings a new GTA V DLC rumor as anxious fans continue to wait patiently for a single-player, story driven DLC for 2014’s biggest game.. Last week Shawn Fonteno, the voice actor who played Franklin in GTA V, seemed to hint something was coming. This week another prominent voice actor says he knows nothing about GTA V DLC.

Ned Luke, the actor who portrays Michael De Santa, wrote on Facebook that he is unaware of any DLC plans with GTA V. “EVERYBODY wants single player DLC...I know NOTHING about that,” Luke wrote online. “Don't know when it's gonna happen or even IF it's gonna happen.”

While this is sure to disappoint many GTA V fans, Luke at least ended his post on a positive note. “I do know the boyz are gonna try to get out to some conventions this year so we can finally meet so many of our fans that we have been unable to meet in the past,” Luke said in the post.

If you missed the news last week, Shawn Fonteno took to Instagram to stir up the rumor mill. Posing in front of several Rockstar game posters, Fonteno posted a picture of himself wearing a motion capture suit. Many figured this was some loose confirmation of single-player DLC, but could very well just be an old picture Fonteno was posting to get some laughs.

So what is Rockstar actually working on? In an interview given with IGN, Rockstar’s Director of Design, Imran Sarwar, said that the whole team is focused on GTA Online. "Right now our focus is on GTA Online which has exceeded our expectations," Sarwar said. "We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto V focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity." If all of the key members are working on GTA Online, then nobody is making single-player DLC.

So what do you think? Do you hope we see a single player DLC for GTA V? Do you prefer that Rockstar is spending so much time updating GTA Online? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
