It’s time for another weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online, and for this week we’re getting a look at that new sports car, as well as increased rewards across all Casino Story missions. There are also some new Twitch Prime special rewards for this week, as well as free stuff and a ton of discounts to appease all players.
To start off with an interesting note, For the first time since its initial launch in 2013, the past week has seen more players than ever in Grand Theft Auto Online, which can be attributed to the official opening of The Diamond Casino. The celebrations for this new landmark continue this week, as a new sports car is in town for those brave enough to tame it: the Vysser Neo, now available to purchase across car dealerships.
Remember to give The Diamond staff some attention this week, as Casino Story Missions will be paying out Double Rewards for the next seven day. Pay a visit to Ms. Baker's management office and help protect Tao Cheng from the Duggan family; in return, reap a ton of benefits from the whole hostile takeover situation.
Players who log in and play until August 7 next week will also get a new piece of apparel – The Diamond Vintage Tee – completely free of charge. While you’re there, stop by the lobby of The Diamond to see that there’s a new beauty on the podium: the Grotti Turismo Classic. You can test your fortune at the Lucky Wheel to see if you’re lucky enough to win this beast – at the very least, you can also take home GTA$, RP, clothing and more.
Also new this week are the additions to the selection of clothing and artwork at The Diamond Casino Store. Lounge like you own the place and in style with the Knit High Roller Jacket and the Gold Kronos Tempo Watch, available this week.
As for discounts, make sure to stop by Ammu-Nation to take advantage of 30 percent discount for the futuristic Up-n-Atomizer ray-gun, the Unholy Hellbringer and the Widowmaker. There are also some hefty sales on vehicles, including a 30 percent discount on the Grotti X80 Proto and the Vapid FMJ; if bikes are more your thing, then check out the Shitzhu Hakuchou Drag, which is 40 percent off for this week.
Twitch Prime members who have linked to their Social Club accounts can now claim their free Master Penthouse in-game via the website on their iFruit. For those who missed the deadline, you can still purchase the Master Penthouse to receive a rebate for the price of the base model unit within 72 hours. In addition to these bonuses, Twitch Prime members can also enjoy 70 percent off the Mammoth Thruster jet pack and the TM-02 Khanjali tank until August 8, plus an addition 10 percent discount off all the items listed above.
