The upcoming high-fantasy role-playing game Godfall is a launch title for the PS5. In fact, it was the very first game that was announced for the PS5. However, a PC version of Godfall has also been confirmed. The PC port will also launch on the same date, November 12, and will only be available on the Epic Games Store (sorry, Steam users).

Godfall is also only available for Sony’s next-gen console, and not for the current-gen PS4. This means that we expected high system requirements for the PC version as well, and we weren’t wrong. Just a few days ago, developer Counterplay Games revealed the official system requirements for PC, and oh boy, are they demanding.

Godfall on PC will only run on Windows 10, so if you are still using Windows 7 then tough luck. To run Godfall on minimum settings you will need either an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-6600 paired with either an AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. The RAM requirements are also quite high, demanding a total of 12GB.

The recommended settings are even steeper. You will need an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7-8700 paired with either an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 TI 11 GB. The RAM requirement is increased to a whopping 16GB. The developers did not reveal the storage requirements. However, if the PS5 version is anything to go off of, then you should expect at least 50GB of SSD/HDD space.

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5-6600
