Ghost Recon Breakpoint announced that it is set to release Title Update 2.1.0. This update, once available, is going to introduce a number of improvements along with major bug fixes. This should be good news for a lot of players.

Before we go look into some of what’s coming, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is also set to add a new AI teammates feature. You can look at the teaser trailer for AI teammates below:

While the update has yet to be released, it appears that the issue where the DMR rifle caused an instant kill glitch has been fixed. The development team also reminded players to report if they continue to experience this issue.

Other issues that are set to fixed include:

  • Button spamming provided additional health in PvP mode
  • Heavy NPCs wouldn't be killed with hacked turrets or miniguns
  • NPCs killed with a headshot would shout
  • Unlocking clues during "What's the plan to extract the Strategist?" investigation would not complete the mission
  • Taking the Intel would not update the Intel description in HUD
  • Preventing players from unlocking upgrades for MK2 and MK3 even with perks unlocked in Ghost War

The update is also going to fix several clipping issues, especially on customizable items. The full list is going to be revealed once the actual update is available.

There’s also going to be some improvements like those related to movement/running animations visible from further camera settings. Other improvements to be introduced to the game are set to be revealed at a later date, but before the update is actually released.

New features

While Ghost Recon Breakpoint can be played solo, it’s often good to play it as a squad. However, it may not be that easy to form a squad all the time. The good news is that the game is going to introduce AI teammates where players now have the choice to form a squad with up to three AI soldiers. More details on this exciting new feature are set to be revealed during the Ubisoft Forward event on July 12. Read more about that event here.
