Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is ready to start its open beta phase. The open beta is available for everyone to play for free. It starts on September 26 and ends September 29.

While the closed beta has already finished, there is still an incentive for why you should join the open beta. This is because you get the chance to experience new and exclusive content. There are going to be three additional main story missions that allow players to dive deeper into the storyline. The main storyline is Operation Greenstone and the closed beta already featured the Eagles Down and No Way Out missions. New missions added for the open beta are Back To Basics, Skell On The Move, and The Enemy Of My Enemy.

The open beta also continues to offer Auroa Missions. These are side missions that let players discover more about the island setting of Breakpoint and the people living on it. The missions are One Man’s Hell, Ghost Of The Past, and A Soul In Rest.

Two new regions, New Argyll and Infinity, are also going to be added in the open beta. This is in addition to the four regions already revealed during the closed beta, which are Sinking Country, Fen Bog, Smuggler Coves, and Mount Hodgson.

The open beta is also going to let players experience elimination matches through Ghost War, the game's PvP mode. A total of four customized PvP maps will be available for these fights. These are Cold War Bunker, Bunker, PMC Camp, and Port. Four new daily missions are going to be added giving players in the open beta the chance to finish up to 12 daily Faction Missions.

Live Action Trailer

To make things even more exciting, Ubisoft released the "Squad Up ft. Lil Wayne" live-action trailer. This was produced by none other than Deadpool 2 Director David Leitch. According to Leitch, the goal in action is always to tell a story, and for this trailer the story focuses on the characters in the game and those at home playing the game. He went on to say that they "wanted to make sure we have these distinct characters that jump off the page and that the action defines them in a real particular way."

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches on October 4 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
