Forge Reports 200,000 Registered Used Within a Month of Beta Launch

The video game rewards platform Forge announced that it just a month after the beta launch, there are now more than 200,000 registered users worldwide coming from 182 different countries. In addition, players signed on to the platform are completing at least more than two million quests.

Forge is a gaming platform where gamers get to aggregate their gaming life and achievements into a single profile. They can then earn rewards that's based on their participation. The game is being backed by different investors and game companies that include the likes of Makers Fund, BITKRAFT Ventures, Animoca Brands, Riot Games, and Sony Innovation Fund. It's founded by seasoned entrepreneurs in both gaming and nerd culture.

The mission of Forge is to help gamers unlock the value of their gamer profiles and in return be rewards on their contributions to the gaming communities. All players are able to link their online gaming and social accounts to make their very own Forge profile. This should represent their unique passion and experiences across games.

There's also going to be Season Passes which players can access. It contains quest where they can earn XP and level up the Season Pass. This should allow them to unlock game content and be able to access rewards that include in-game content from partner games like cosmetics, item/character unlocks, virtual currency, and early beta access.

Forge is now open to the public in beta and those interested can sign up here. Those who join and participate in the community get the chance to obtain a limited edition founders badge. This lets them unlock special features in the Forge community along with the Forge service.

  • Mojo Melee
  • Rushdown Reolt
  • Portal Fantasy
  • Ember Sword
  • Genopets

That may not be much for now but there are mor ethan dozen new partners games which are set to be part of the platform by the end of Season 1, which is in January.
