The highly anticipated Flash / Supergirl crossover is here and four released scenes finally give us a few hints about what’s in store for Supergirl episode 18, “Worlds Finest.” Warning: Supergirl and The Flash spoilers ahead!

Things are heating up for Supergirl in National City. After being poisoned by red kryptonite, going on an evil psychotic rampage and nearly killing Cat Grant, Supergirl has made a full recovery. However, what Kara doesn't know yet is that supervillains Silver Banshee and Livewire are teaming up to raise hell and get revenge on Cat Grant.

Back in Central City, The Flash hasn’t been having an easy time either. After Trajectory wreaked havoc with Velocity-9, she ran so fast she disappeared in thin air. As if Barry didn’t have enough of a reason to travel through time and defeat Zoom, Eliza Harmon is presumably lost somewhere in an alternate universe with no way home. Not to mention Barry’s confidence is at an all time low since he couldn’t keep up.

The Flash Season 2 Episode 16, “Trajectory,” gave us absolutely no clues as to how Barry was going to “spiral from his universe and land in Kara’s” and “suddenly appear from an alternate universe” like the Supergirl synopsis revealed. However, the latest sneak peek shows Barry wearing the Tachyon device that belongs to Eobard Thawne, aka The Reverse-Flash. The device amplifies his connection to the speed force and helps him run even faster. We won’t know the full story until 8 p.m. tonight, but it appears Barry saves Kara from falling out of a window and then realizes he’s on another Earth once Supergirl doesn't recognize him and has never heard of anyone in the Arrowverse.

Oh, and Cat Grant wants to call Barry “The Blur.” Cisco would have a huge problem with that, just saying. Don’t miss The Flash and Supergirl on screen together tonight on CBS at 8 p.m.
