As if Barry doesn’t have enough on his plate, it appears Zoom puts Wally West’s life in danger in Season 2 episode 18, “Versus Zoom.” New images released by CW show Zoom gripping up a frightened Wally West in STAR Labs. This raises two huge game-changing questions. Will Wally finally learn Barry’s secret? And, could this be the beginning of Wally West’s transformation into Barry Allen’s speedster protege, Kid Flash?

“Versus Zoom’ will fill us in on the origins of Hunter Zolomon (aka Zoom). Hopefully, this whole Jay Garrick-Hunter Zolomon-Zoom love triangle will be set straight. We already know Harrison Well will teach Cisco there is more to his ‘Vibing’ powers. According to the synopsis, Cisco will use his powers to open the Earth-2 breach , which is presumably how Zoom gets into Star Labs:
Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zolomon painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.
Keiynan Lonsdale’s Kid Flash would shake up everything. The Flash usually fights crime solo, unlike Arrow who relies heavily on his team. But don’t get too excited, Wally West still doesn’t have any speedster powers. Will Zoom have something to do with how Wally becomes Kid Flash? Find out on “Versus Zoom” April 19 on CW.
