Fire Emblem Warriors was revealed at the Nintendo Switch event on Jan. 12 but there wasn’t much information regarding the title outside of the fact that it’s a Dynasty Warriors-style game with Fire Emblem characters.

During today’s Fire Emblem-focused Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that the game will come to both the Nintendo Switch and the 3DS this year.

This title marks the first time Fire Emblem comes to a home console since Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn for the Nintendo Wii in 2007.

A brand new extended trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors was also released showing off Chrom slicing his way through hordes of enemies in classic Dynasty Warriors fashion.

Not much else was revealed about the upcoming title for Switch and 3DS but if you are familiar with Dynasty Warriors orHyrule Warriors, which used Legend of Zelda characters, then you know there will be an original story that lets you control multiple Fire Emblem characters as you make your way through each level and defeat each boss.

Who else will be playable in Fire Emblem Warriors is unknown but expect a large roster.

Fire Emblem Warriors will release for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS in Fall 2017.
