While the Final Fantasy XIV Ifrit raid event is still underway, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has launched a new crossover event with Final Fantasy Tactics.

Players tired of chipping away at Ifrit can retreat to the new Final Fantasy Brave Exvius event dungeon “The Auracite Chosen,” which provides rewards for each quest in the event series. Here’s what you get:

  • BGN Quest: Rare Summon Ticket x1
  • INT Quest: Red Orb x200
  • ADV Quest: Red Orb x300
  • PRO Quest: Red Orb x500
  • ELT Quest: Lapis x500

The red orbs can be exchanged for items such as a White Staff that enables poison, a Battle Hoop for Soleil, a Light elemental sword called Durandal and a Global Exclusive Reward, a sword called Kiyomori that boosts chance of evading physical attacks by 10%. The exchange period ends April 12.

Drop rates for the new Final Fantasy Tactics units will increase as well. Orlandeau (Holy Swordsman), Ovelia (Princess), Soleil (Dancer) and Lawrence (Warrior) are available.

Finally, in ADV-level quests and above, rare chocobo boss monsters will appear. The red chocobo is the most dangerous (and probably the spiciest) of all, but the chocobos can appear in yellow and purple as well. They may look sweet and innocent… but they are not, so beware!

And once you’re done with that, you can go back to battling against Ifrit in the “March on Ifrit” raid event ending Mar. 31. Depending on battle results, players will receive event points and Ifrit Raid Coins, with rewards such as recipes, Trust Moogles, FFXIV exclusive units such as Y’shtola, Minfilia and Thancred, and more.
