T1 has finally completed its roster for this year’s Dota Pro Circuit. The esports organization added the legendary veteran from South Korea Kim “Febby” Yong-min to its roster.

While it is no secret that Febby is among the best Dota 2 players out there, he spent the back end of last season attempting to join up with a roster after Mineski decided to mix up its team. He is known for playing for both Geek Fam and Team Jinesbrus, although neither of these teams helped him reach success.

Considering the fact that most of the other Jinebrus players, namely Nico “Gunnar” Lopez, decided to join much more defined teams, Febby was among the prominent names left on the Dota 2 market following the first Major qualifiers this year. This only makes sense for T1 to pick him up, especially since he will be teaming up with PieLieDie and Lee “Forev” Sang-don.

T1’s core is now made up of three Dota 2 veterans, and all of them have experience competing on the main stage. These players, with their skills, are definitely going to make the organization a solid contender for a spot in The International 2020.

The experience that these veterans bring to the table will definitely come in handy, not to mention the help they will be getting from Skadilicious and XemistrY. Apparently, though, both of these players don't really have a good amount of tournament history.

Here is the current lineup for T1:

  • Skadilicious
  • Forev
  • XemistrY
  • Febby
  • PieLieDie

It remains a mystery right now which player will be taking the team captain role. However, it is very plausible for PieLieDie to take on the role since he is coming off a great season, where he led Forward Gaming/Newbee roster to a top-12 finish at TI9. Also, it is yet to be confirmed if XemistrY will be playing on loan from Athletico, or if T1 will actually acquire him outright.
