There’s exciting news for racers around the world. A new patch has been released for F1 22 to make things in-game even better. Patch 1.15 or the Sport Liveries Update introduces significant visual improvements to the 10 F1 teams. This was done to make the cars in the game much closer to their real-life versions.

It's fun to know that the development team released this update because throughout the season, the different F1 teams can refine the team colors, branding, and attire, to name a few. Of course, the most important changes are the ones made to the cars themselves.

This means that the designs of F1 cars evolve across the season. While they seem small visual changes, thousands of hours have been spent on research for such changes.

Under the Sport Liveries Update, tweaks were made to the vehicle geometry, bodywork, sponsors, and colors. Updates were introduced as well to the team attires, hospitality spaces, and garage looks.

The changes were made to these vehicles:

  • Oracle Red Bull Racing
  • Scuderia Ferrari
  • Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team
  • BWT Alpine F1 Team
  • McLaren F1 Team
  • Alfa Romeo F1 Team ORLEN
  • Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One Team
  • Haas F1 Team
  • Scuderia AlphaTauri
  • Williams Racing

Talking about this new update, Senior Director of the F1 Franchise at Codemasters Paul Jeal shared in a statement that with each race, the different F1 teams are constantly evolving the liveries and designs of their respective cars. He revealed that they’ve been working hard this year to offer upgrades for every team which should bring players closer than ever to the original version.

Free Halloween Livery

In celebration of Halloween, all players get the Alice in Wonderland inspired Cheshire Cat The Grin Livery for free. It's going to be sent through in-game messages and can be redeemed between October 31 and December 5.

Check out the new liveries and tell us what you think. F1 22 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
