The Division’s beta on PC has been plagued by cheaters. Fans have taken to reddit to report players with unlimited ammo, super speed and other cheats when playing in The Dark Zone PVP area. Ubisoft said it is aware of the issues and is working on a fix.

The issues were originally posted on the The Division subreddit by user Z000001. According to this user, the netcode for The Division allows hackers to easily access how much ammo, speed, medkits and more their characters can have. This results in players who have unlimited ammo, with no need to reload, who can move so fast they are invisible. Obviously, gamers are a little bit upset.

“Guys, so you're aware the things discussed here are not in fact hacks or cheats, but merely abuse of glitches that exist in the game currently,” wrote an Ubisoft community manager on the The Division forums. “These glitches are currently being worked on by the team.”

We know that The Division’s beta has been extended to tomorrow, Feb. 2, so that more people can play. Unfortunately, this means more people will get to play with cheaters, as a fix will most definitely not be issued within the next 24 hours. Hopefully, Ubisoft can figure out a way to weed out cheaters and get them banned before The Division releases next month on March 8.

So what do you think? Did your The Division experience get plagued by cheaters? Are you one of the players exploiting the glitches? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
