The full launch of SYNCED is expected this summer. Before that, there was an advanced alpha test and an open beta last year. For those who weren't able to join both and want to try out the game, a demo is now live on Steam until April 19. Here, players can check out the solo gameplay and experience newest additions like the exciting weapon mods and "Nano Leap" ability.
SYNCED is a sci-fi shooter set in a future where nanotechnology has become the backbone of civilization. After the cataclysm known as the Collapse, these same nanomachines have suddenly gone rogue. Called Nanos, they’ve become feral and predatory, roaming the wastelands and consuming humans to propagate themselves.
In this techno-apocalyptic future, players take on the role of runners. These fortune-seekers have converged on Snake River Valley, WA, considered as ground zero for the Collapse, where they look for the highly valuable nano-energy substance known as Nerva.
